It is a lightning pain that occurs everywhere in my right leg, very suddenly, on and off! It hurts if I put pressure on it and is weak, and hurts when I turn it. What is it?!

  1. It could be a blood clot/ deep vein thrombosis.  Look at the area that is the trigger point as well as the area around it and see if you can see any redness or swelling.

If I were you, I would call the doctor for an urgent appointment  NOW.  If you have to wait through the weekend, you could develop serious complication.

I hope you find that your problem is minor.

  2. Sounds like a blood clot, especially if it's throbbing.  Your avatar suggests you're a young man, which makes my guess (I'm not a doctor) less likely, yet I would have it checked out asap, since blood clots can travel to the heart, lung, or brain.  Sorry to scare you, but I'd consult an expert immediately, especially if you did nothing to strain/sprain it.  Good luck
