I am having camera proplems?

Okay I have videos I need to upload on youtube. but when I try to play them on windows media player it can't play them and nether can youtube. how can I change the format of the video.

please I will be your best friend if u help me

it all has to do with the file extension.  is it .mov?  is it .avi?  you probably need a codec.  go here  http://www.free-codecs.com/download/XP_C...

then open Windows Movie Maker click on TOOLS > OPTIONS>COMPATIBILITY> CHECK ALL BOXES INCLUDING FDDSHOW VIDEO DECODER.

you tube accepts almost all formats but it has to be under 10 minutes long and under 1 gig

It might be a codec problem on your PC, but that's not going to affect YouTube.  You could try converting the video to something like WMV with Super.
