I am now on Broadband, and I did get a refund of my anytime payments for three months, but now they are going to charge me again this month. Any suggestions.

  1. Best thing to do is give them a call one more time.

If you get someone foreign that you can't understand, please ask to speak to someone else, a supervisor or preferably someone who is from UK.

You are well within your rights to ask for that and it is important you do.  Unfortunately those people from abroad always have trouble undertstanding what you are talking about and they just make matters more frustrating.

Once you get that, get forceful with them, not aggressive or rude just make them know you are not happy.

If you have done that already then the only coarse of action is a letter threatening cancellation of your broadband account if they don't comply, you could also mention court as that always has a useful affect.

But most of all, don't be pushed around by them.  Large companies always try to walk over people and I myself have a long history of complaints with people such as BT, Orange, Royal Mail and the rest.  Don't take it.

On a side note, I'm in the process of writing a letter to Royal Mail threatening court as they lost my parcel and won't recover me the costs.  As far as I am concerned, when I post a parcel they are entering into a contract with me in which they are responsible for delivering it, if they s***w up, they pay up!
