I am having irregular menstrual cycles. my last was 32 days and now it was 28 days. Why is this so?

Trying to get pregnant, but with the confusion of my menstrual cycle, I can't get it right. My first regular period after stopping of birth control was June 1-5. the 2nd one was July 3-7. and now i've started July 29 and should end Aug 3. Really confused! My BF and i had intercourse on the 16th of July. Please help me us do it on the right time.........:( :( :(

after coming off bc it can take months for your cycle to get back to normal took me 7 months, if your ttc i would say get a ovulation test kit to determine when your going to ovulate

Your cycle bouncing from 32 days to 28 days is most definitely NOT an irregular cycle. Not all cycles are an exact set amount of days, it may vary from month to month. From your information given, it sounds like you should be ovulating around Aug. 11-13. Relax. Have fun. Good Luck!

i am using it at the moment and it determines when you are going to ovulate, my last cycle was 42 days!!! and then my last one was 32...

First you need to track the whole cycle in calendar form. That way you can start finding patterns. Second, watch for signs from your body that you are ovulating. Egg white cervical mucus is a good sign. Ovulation typically occurs 14 days before your period begins. I would suggest to start babydancing around day 12 of your cycle and do it every other day until say day 24. That should cover the window I think you would be ovulating. And just because you do the deed when you're ovulation doesn't mean you'll get pregnant. There's something like a 10-25% chance that you'll get pregnant under the best conditions.

Sound like you are having a whacky cycle and yes its going to be difficult to detect fertile days. Check your cm and body tempreature.
