I am having my wedding on a boat...need ideas?

So we finalized our location and date today (YAY!) 9/12/09 its going to be on a boat up in the finger-lakes region on NY. I am clueless on favors or decorations for inside the boat....its going to be 126 people. Any ideas would be awesome.....

i don't know how much you are planning on spending but i saw a deal where on the tables in the reception they had a fish in a bowl on every table, like a beta fish i think, and had scattered rose petals matching the rocks on the bottom of the bowls. also i don't know how many guests you have so that could become pricey fast :( but i thought that would be cool since you are getting married in a boat, which is sooooo cool by the way, i am getting married at a bed and breakfast in Natchitoches, Louisiana! :)

http://www.myweddingfavors.com/ - check this out for some awesome ideas for wedding favors! they have some cute and unique ideas and totally affordable and may help you with a theme or some colors!! As for decorations I would go crazy with little white lights everywhere to make it look really romantic and candle light would be gorgeous!! congrats, the boat idea sounds beautiful!

im not being funny at all but make sure you have enough life vests and your not in an area where fish(like sturgeon) leap into your boat.

I know this is tacky but please have a supply of seasick pills on hand!

I went to a wedding on a boat a few years ago and I got soooo sick on calm water. I was miserable.

Just go nautical with your theme. Since you've rented a boat, why not ask them? They may already have souvenirs which would be appropriate for favors.
