I am having nightmares of a childhood predator?

when i was maybe 3 and there was a man named the blue eyed rapist and he was gong through my neighborhood and he killed my best friend. but i'm starting to have nightmares of him now even though it happened about 10 years ago.

why?

if you need to talk to someone about this and live in the USA contact RAINN on 1800 656 HOPE.  Otherwise you can google 'rape crisis centre' and find one in your country.  Usually there is a freecall number.  Ask to speak with the duty worker or a counsellor.  Flashbacks are very common after a trauma even if it happened years ago.  You are not alone.

When God made us, in the garden of Eden and sin had not yet entered the world, neither hed fear. Gen3:10 tell us that Adam & Eve was afraid after they sinned. So fear comes from the devil. 2nd Timithy tells us that "God has not given us the spirit of fear but of peace & love & sound mind."  

  Peace, love, & and sound mind is NOT,what you have at this time. Just as the enemy of anything good would be the author of anything bad.(i.e.the devil) he was the insperation behind the rapist 10 yr. ago. he has found out (probably because he heard you tell a freind) That you still fear that. so he (the devil) is hammering your mind with it. he broadcast his filthy, fear based, twisted thoughts to us like a radio station. And we will tune to it if we do not gaurd against it.

   That is where Jesus comes in. He  says He will take you under His wing like a mother hen gathers her chicks. (If you have never seen this it is amazing. the hen will die before she moves. There have been grass fires where the hen dies but the chicks came running out from under her after the fire past.)

    But Christ already died once so death can't touch Him now. And he is stronger than the devil So the devil can't touch Him. And if you are under His wing, satan and his perverted followers can't touch you. And the fear that they can or might be able to will began to go away with a relationship with Jesus.

   So now i have told you why, and what you can do to beat the dreams (they are coming because fear is strong) Fewar is the opposite of faith. So put your faith in Jesus, if you do fear and these dreams wil go away. (this may or may not happen instantly) but it WILL happen. Isaiah 55;11 tells us that Gods word will not return to Him void but accompolish what He sent it to. So count on it.
