I am having opinions about Doomsday in 2012?

Okay so everyone on the web is talking about Doomsday!

I am having my opinions because I found on the web that people in NASA have been saying that they have found apartment numbers on mars and they are predicting that that it use to be an old earth and they are saying that maybe there is still life. And also they think that Doomsday happened to mars and are thinking that maybe earth is going to end up like mars after Doomsday. Is it true???

Interesting, 2012 is the end of the cyclical long count calendar of the Mayans, they prophecized the Earth would be destroyed by Earthquakes in the coming years, it wont happen on one day, it should start within the next two years and end in 2014, 2012 is the peak of these disasters. The Earth is cleansing itself because us humans are a stupid species hardly worth living, but its going to give us another chance, but first its going to make sure billions of us die so that we get the message that things dont revolve around us. Not sure about that whole Mars theory, thats kinda crazy. The ancient ciilizations considered earth as the 7th planet...think about that, the 7th planet from what, maybe Mars did have life and was destroyed, maybe Venus will be the next to harbor life and the Earth is destroyed and can no longer hold life, which at the rate we are polluting the Earth will be in a hundred years, so to avoid desturction from humans, the Earth is sending us a message to live in harmony with nature, ie. dont pollute it.

Edgar Cayce had a prediction that some significant event was going to happen in 2012.

Nostradamus had a prediction as well that there would be a significant event happening that year.

And the Mayans just so happened to end their calendar on that year.

All odd, yes, but does it really mean the end of the world?  Well, I can't tell you that, no one can.  Instead of pondering if the world is really going to end that year, the message we should take out of this is to live life to the fullest now since tomorrow is not a guarantee.  

If you go do everything you wanted now and the world ends at least you had a full life and a fun time, though if it doesn't at least you had a good time and still have some great memories.

I bet you $1000 that doomsday will not be in 2012! The whole idea is based upon ignorance and lies. NASA has not said any such thing as you mention here. Some people, on the web or off it, are outrageous liars.

There will be a big event in 2012  at Midnight on December31st .....

The clock will turn to January 1st, and there will be a bunch of embarrassed people.....

Doomsday very well might have happened on Mars, Life might have migrated from Mars to Earth.. and I might go have a Snickers Bar... none of which the Mayans had any control over...
