  1. Me too, maybe its the router.

    Edit:

    Yayyyy Found it..

Someone else on the block has installed a wireless BT router.

Checking on my dongle config utilty showed it up as using the same channel as me belkin.

Changed my belkin channel from channel 1 to channel4.

    yayyyyy,

    And it works again,Yipeee.

Funny how things appear in the old brain overnight !

    OK,

yo need to connect to the Belkin using network cable,

access URL http://192.168.2.1/index.html (which is the router config access)

Go to wireless - channel etc

loggin using blank (ie nothing in the password input)

    Well mines like that anyway

change the channel, I used channel 4

    Apply changes

    loggout

    And it works!!!!!!!

  2. Is the wireless adapter on your laptop working OK its not clear from your question, there is sometimes a hardware switch to turn it on. Is there a wireless icon in the notification area?

Go into network connections and see if it is present and enabled, if it is not present check you have the drivers - this is the software needed to make the wireless work on your laptop. If the wireless is disabled check your hardware switch or rt click and enable. The other thing is to turn off your firewall - your router already has one built in. Less us know what happens

  3. I had Belkin wireless router and it was horrible. I had to keep calling the help line everytime I booted up my laptop. It was the worse. I finally went out and purchased a linksys wireless router. I called the first time to help set it up and never had a problem since.

  4. By "no connection" I assume you mean it's not connected to any wireless networks?

If you had security, then you need to tell Windows to connect to your network and enter the wireless key (if you don't know it I'll tell you how later).  This will re-teach the computer to talk to your router.

If you forgot (or don't know) your password, try connecting without one and see if it's unsecure.  Otherwise plug in with a wire into your belkin router and go to http://192.168.2.1

Then you can click security and it will show you the wireless passkey.
