I am having problems with my gta vice city pc version?

on my desktop computers gta works perfectly but on my new laptop the game only takes up a small square of space in the center of the montier aboout 6 inches and the surronding area is completly black can someone please help me fix it.

  1. Vice city doesnt work well with vista:(

    I tried and it would crash after about twenty minutes playing.
