  1. Unplug you phone from the inside jack and try plugging to your denarcation point (outside jack) to see if you get a dial tone , if you get a dial tone then the problem is inside your premises and if you dont get a dial tone in your dematc then the problem is outside your premises.

call your service provider and have them make a check.

  2. Same problem as I had recently, it was a fault on the line. Get in touch with your service provider and report it.

  3. Try using another phone and cable from the wall to see if you get a signal with that....

If nothing then look further back,  take a regular old wired telephone out to your telephone box on your house along with a screwdriver.  Open the panel, unplug the telephone cable on the user port side and plug yours in.... If you still get nothing here and you know the phone works it is the phone companies responsibility, give them a call (on someone elses phone of course).  If you get a dial tone here, then you have a problem somewhere in the line coming out of the box to your wall plate inside.  If your good with that stuff fix it yourself, it's cheaper.

  4. pick up your phone and call yout phone service...

    get it?

  5. sounds like your phone has been disconnected!! you pay your bills??

  6. Theres a short in either your wiring or the phone company's wiring.
