I am 25 and have been having severe headaches for over 2 weeks now. It is located in my facial temples, forehead and the worst part is my neck with the back of my head. Nothing gives me relief, not even prescribed painkillers. I have had a cat scan and blood work done with the results showing nothing out of the ordinary. Next step is to see a neurologist.

I have no history of migraines in my family. I Have also never had severe headaches. They're so bad that I am barely even functioning day to day. Any ideas of what might be wrong with me?

  1. Go see a chiropractor.  You may not need the neurologist after that.

  2. Sounds more like a stress headache(neck and back of head) with the front being from the weather change.

Try Goodies powder and sleep in total darkness.

I am so sorry for you, it must hurt like h*ll

  3. Have you had your sinuses checked?  I get bad headaches like the ones you are describing.   Usually if it goes very long, it means I have a sinus infection.  Also, the only symptom is the headache.  The only thing that really helps is a Medrol dose pack.  It is the prednisone pack they give for like allergic reactions.  You take like 6 or 7 the first day then it goes like 5,4 ,3 2,1 on the last day.  See an Ear Nose and throat specialist= Otolaryngologist= ENT.  I hope you get relief.  People don't understand unless they have had a really bad headache.  I know what you are going through.
