I am having trouble getting Lexmark x6570 to print. ?

I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled twice, but cannot get this printer to communicate with computer. The only way it will print is shut the system down and restart the computer. It will only print the first job and then quit. It will show that only 99% printed, but the whole page printed. Can someone tell what to do? Thank you SO much!

Call customer service ask for a supervisor If the guy has an accent.Lexmark replaced 3 printers  for me I have made some stupid mistakes in life the The biggest   buying a Lexmark printer  Its right up there with getting   married

I will guess you are using USB data cable? If you are try a parallel printer cable if you are using a parallel printer cable try a USB data cable.

Try a new cable even if you are using the parallel printer cable it could be the cable.

When you install the printer are you doing this from Printers? Or is Windows prompting you to install the printer?

Try unplugging the printer and with the printer ON plug it back into the PC.

Does the PC see the printer? You may have a bad USB port on the PC try a different USB port.

Once you get the PC to see the printer your home free.
