  1. The problem is not just you but ion is low wattage in other areas in the country .

In Raliegh/Durham i get ion signal late at night .

  2. I am having the same trouble. I can say it isn't your box. We just got a Channel Master DTV converter box. All channels came in pretty good except no ION channel at all and channel 8 (PBS) would only sometimes came in and not very good. We live between Friendswood and Galveston, so we thought maybe because we are too far away. So we went and bought a huge outdoor antenna, just hooked it up. Now every channel we already found through the box comes in perfect, including channel 8 at 100% signal, but sadly still no ION at all through the HDTV, but great through analog. I have no clue why. I'm trying to find out myself. I'll let you know if I find out what the problem is.

  3. With analog, if you tune into a weak signal, you will see it. Digital is different. If you tune into a weak signal, you won't get a picture.

    1. Make sure ION is broadcasting in digital

    2. Try pointing your antenna directly at ION's broadcast antenna

    3. Try a bigger antenna
