I am having trouble justifying

I am having trouble justifying the handle on a Hansgrohe Thermoballance III .I have reviewed the manual and find that the cartridge high temp limit stop is in the 3 o'clock position instead of the 6 o'clock position shown.I was trying to move the temp control from the 100 degree mark to the 110 degree mark (not enouh how water - yes I have adjusted the tankless water heater treashold)When I went to replace the handle via the justifying procedure, I find that the temp control k**b doesn't move anymore.Before it rotated, but the water high temp was set at 100 degrees.
