I am having trouble using my ATT/2Wire modem. It does not allow mw to access the web. What can I do?

I have all of the front panel lights on the ATT/2wire modem (2070), my 2 wireless and 1 Ethernet pc can no longer connect to th web. I show that the DSL is not working. Any suggestions?

  1. do a hard rest and reconfigure the modem, if all fails call your isp


  2. As you have indication of power, it is possible your ISP is down in your area. I would phone up technical support and ask what is up. You might also be able to browse to their website, click on Support and access information on their network status.

    If their network is up, you could attempt to reboot the modem. Unplug it for 30 seconds and then allow it to boot all the way up. See if the modem light comes back on. If not, phone up your ISP again, and ask for assistance. It is possible your modem has failed and they can do troubleshooting with you to figure out what is wrong. If your modem is out and they furnished it, they will send you another one. If you bought your modem you will need to purchase a new one unless it is still under warranty.
