I am having twins in November this is my 1st pregnancy what are some musts things to have?

What are some things that are hard to live without when having twins?

Some kind of identification bracelets or a henna tattoo on the bottom of their foot (especially if they are identical twins- if you've got a boy/girl set, you don't need to worry about this) to help tell them apart.  You will be sleep deprived, to say the least, especially since this is your first pregnancy/child(ren), and it does happen that you can get mixed up which baby is who if they are the same s*x.  

You also need to have the information on some good developmental programs.  Twins often are born prematurely, which means that they often have developmental delays in motor control and speech development.  Ask your OB for some info on programs in your area for children with developmental delays.  I work with countless twin sets at the preschool I work at for children with disabilities, because of the high incidence of developmental delays.  This is not to scare you, but to warn you of the possibility of a delay so you can be prepared.  

Lastly, HELP.  Recruit someone- grandma, hubby, neighbor who can come over at the drop of a hat to help you out.  Whether it be that both babies decide to have a gigantic poopy blowout at the same time, they both want to feed, or you just can't take one more minute of crying- you need someone who can temporarily relieve you so you can escape.  It does not make you a bad mom to say, "I need a break!"  It makes you a mom.  All the other stuff (diapers, wipes, cribs) will be easy compared to living with two equally demanding people in the first months.  Have back-up.

Dipers Dipers and more Dipers... dnt forget the wipes.. and powder.... also enough formula.. but if u are gonna feed them on schedule.. then u really dnt have to worry bout formula... that much

a room with blankets and 2 cribs baby bottle unles you no. and dipers and powder,wipes,baby lotion,baby wash. you also need patients and alot of them.carseats,changing stands,thermomiters,clothes,a heater baby safe! to keep the room the right tempo. idk what its called i call it a baby tub for your newborns. strollers with bug guards .tempoture for the tub to make sure the water is the right tempo.diper bags. raddles stuffed animlas safe stuffed animals . and the rest just comes to a mothers mind.

One thing to remember is that though they are twins, they are also individuals. Allow them to develop their own identities. Try not to dress them up the same; buy a different style of clothes for each of them. The must things to have are: patience, love, endurance, a mom AND a dad, and a double-portion of a lot of things.

I have twins, 15mos. old, and here are a few must haves:

Lots of onsies, a ton of bottles if you plan on formula feeding or even if you don't, a breast pump, HELP for you so you can get some rest, two cribs (though mine slept together for the first couple of months until they started rolling), a BIG diaper bag, lots of blankets, tons of diapers, wipes, and butt balm, a thermometer (one will do as long as you remember to wipe it with alchohol), lots of washcloths, burpcloths, a two baby stroller, lots of socks (depending where you live and how warm it is), and a good schedule so you remember who ate last, medicines, etc.  (My babies were premie so came home on lots of meds. and feeding tubes-a schedule was a must!)

The thing to remember is to get double what you normally would for one baby-even if they are boy/girl twins.  If you plan on having a baby shower register for two of everything.  This really helped me and people were good about doubling up on the gifts they gave.

HELP!  so you can have an hour to yourself every day! ... other than that, keeping the bathroom cabinet stocked with  baby tylenol, teething rings, thermometers (invest in the ear kind, it's worth it!) , q-tips, aspirators (helps to have different colors assigned to each kid that way you can keep cooties from spreading once that first cold arrives, little nail clippers....  If you nurse, a really good breast pump (less expensive to rent one from the hospital) ...but the evenflo portable ones you can get at target are great too. lots of bottles (dishwasher!) a chart for schedules...so you know who ate when, who took medicine when...etc.   onsie extenders (@babies are us), stock up on baby clothing detergent-you shouldnt use the regular kind...and stroller... the kind of stroller where you can snap their car seats into are great, but once they grow out of their carrier type car seats you end up having to buy a regular double stroller....skip the fancy car seat one and get a regular double one from the start-i'll save you money! also there's two books that will save you $  "baby bargains" and "toddler bargains"  they have products rated by safety, features & price!
