  1. by the sounds of it, you're not transfering your weight during your swing. you need to transfer it from the front to theback and this will shallow out your divotss and you should be good to go

  2. Do you really want to enjoy the game more? Find a good teaching pro and invest in a couple of lessons. You  will develop the proper swing plane for the various clubs. You will learn to hit through the ball rather than at it. You will find that the power you have will result in more distance, accuracy with more positive feelings  concerning your ability.

  3. Poor results are do to poor swing mechanics...Lessons and proper dedicated practice will cure this for you.

  4. First check your divots and see if they are before of after the ball.  If the divots start before you contact the ball, you are dipping too early and too much on your downswing: keep your right shoulder level and use more left arm for the impact.  If the divots look right, you are probably not exerting maximum power at the point of impact.  Depending on whether you are slicing or hooking, you are turning too early or too late.  If the ball is straight, you are probably using mostly all arm muscle instead of the lower body's bigger muscles.

  5. Make sure your taking a pivot after first making contact with the ball. You should swing down through the back of the ball and then the club head should make contact with the ground. A good way to tell if your contacting the ground first is to. Line up six or so balls in a line going perpendicular from your stance. start hitting the balls and see if the divot is in front or behind the line of balls that are left.

  6. Focus on one swing thought, and one swing though only....KEEP MY HEAD STILL.

If you focus on keeping your head still throughout the whole swing, you will not take such big divots...you are, what I call, lunging at the ball. You are dipping your head and shoulders in order to "reach" the ball....

  7. well make sure you just keep your head on the ball and not to,lift it and just to keep your swing nice and easy

  8. it sounds like you are dropping your shoulder because you are swinging too fast.  if their weak you probably dont have the hip rotation needed to get full power out of your arms.  try to have a frim left side for right handed on follow through.  with your weigh on the left foot and a firm legmostly unbent knee.  this should get the power to the left side and help clear the hips it should help keep your sholders up.  slow the swing down too.  watch fred couples swing real smooth and great tempo. he still drives it over 250 everytime.
