Question:

I am home alone with grandma...?

Yes. So my dad went to a interview to get a job at Kohl's. So in the mean time I am with my grandma. And my dad is probably coming back late. And I am here with my grandma alone.

She is sleeping and I know when she wakes she will say she is hungry. So I don't know what to do. I am 12 year old. What can I make for my grandma when she wakes up as a little lunch for me and her?

Any ideas? She is not allowed to have salt, or chocolate.

Thanks,

Sabby

  1. you could just make a sandwich. if you have subway sandwich bread, you could make the sandwiches and put them in the oven to broil until they are golden and toasty. or you could get out a pan and make grilled cheese sandwiches. or you could ask your grandma what she is hungry for. I'm sure your grandma will appreciate whatever you make. You are only 12! you are so sweet!

  2. Tapioca pudding. Serve her some fruit. Soup...

  3. Peanut butter & jelly (:

Light, tasty, simple, easy, & fairly nutritious.

  4. Hi Sabby,

I think you should make her a fried egg sandwich or some toast and a cup of tea, or you could always give her a slice of cake and a cup of tea I'm sure she would love that.

  5. Scrambled eggs on toast is pretty easy and quick.

Just break 2 eggs into a bowl add two tablespoons of milk and beat it all up, add a little chives or tomatoe if you like, just for taste, and place it on toast. That should please her

  6. Something simple like sandwiches would be good, you can cut them into 4 squares, or diagonally, and make little finger sandwiches.

  7. ham & cheese sandwich with a glass of coke

  8. Mac And Cheese [:

easy way to cook up a quick meal!

  9. well all foods have salt.. so i dont know but i guess you can make some cereal with pancakes thats as easy as it gets yes i no its not a lunch food but who said u cant have breakfest at lunch time :D

  10. Ceasar Salad? Bit of mixed salad some Fryed bread and some dressing.. If you have it in the house.....

  11. maybe some sandwiches with some fresh cut up fruit

  12. So Chef's Salty Chocolate Balls are out of the question.

    Rest In Peace Isaac Hayes.

  13. Something with vegetables in it. How about a chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato but hold the mayo. And a glass of milk.

  14. give her some water

  15. It depends on what's in the fridge or pantry.

  16. Aww your so cute!! Try something simple, maybe toasted sandwhiches?

Really depends on what you have at home! If youve done it before and feel confident to do it by yourself you can always make a simple pasta! Just boil the noodles and add some tomoatoe sauce or fresh tomatoes with some olive oil and hey presto!

  17. Keep it simple, hon...maybe warm up a can of soup?  Maybe make a grilled cheese sandwich to go along with it.

    Good luck!

  18. Wow! How thoughtful! I am sure your grandmother would love anything you make her. But to keep is simple why not make a couple sandwiches and maybe a salad on the side. Grandmas are always saying how they are trying to watch their weight. If you have milk or some kind of tea in the fridge to go with it I'm sure she would be happy.

  19. Sandwiches are always a good idea, if you have lunch meat. If you have a microwave you could do soup, just make sure it is salt free.

  20. Plain pasta. Don't add salt to the boiling water.
