The former Red Devil has revealed that he is delighted and honoured to be named among the final nominees for the Golden Ball.

The footballer alongside Barcelona’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 and Andres Iniesta is among the three players nominated for the coveted award. The winner will be determined after a voting process which comprises of football icons all over the world, including team captains,
managers, experts, veterans and critics.

Interestingly, this year’s finalists are the same as last year as these are the same players who made it to the last three to win the prestigious award. Messi was the eventual winner of the esteemed prize.
Nevertheless, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 is simply pleased with being the finalist once again this year. The former Manchester United declared that being one of the last three finalists is a great personal honour. In addition, he voiced that being nominated was a matter of
pride for him.
The 28-year-old was the winner of the Ballon d’Or in 2008 as he played an instrumental role in United’s UEFA Champions League triumph. He is the only player to win the Golden Ball while representing a team in the English Premier League.
Moreover, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 international has remained a massive contender ever since and has a strong chance to win this year as well, although he faces stiff competition in the shape of the Barca number 10.
