The party is for a 4-year old. The other children range in age from 18 months to 3 years. The theme is "Pool Party". I just want something inexpensive and easy that I can do for the Dads (and Grandpas) to acknowledge Father's Day. Your ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  1. put a wallet sized fam pic something with his fav sports team and a can of bear

  2. Men, like thing that are edible....a party of M&M"S plain or Peanuts or both....A small box of fudge

or Chocolate liqueurs......Maybe some toys from back in his day......A Yo Yo.....Water gun....

  3. I did this in a daycare center for father's day and the dads loved it.

Get a white  t-shirt and have the kids put their handprints with paint on the front or back of the shirt. They will have there child's handprints. It's great! Or do the handprints with paint on a picture frame with there picture.

    GOOD LUCK!

  4. Have a pinata and let kids and dads have fun! http://www.pinatas.com/Boys_Birthday_Pin...

  5. Speaking as a dad, I can tell you this would be an amazing gift.

Go to a gift shop and buy some small frames.  Have the kids decorate them as a craft.  Take a picture of each kid during the party, print it out, mount it into the picture, and give each one to each dad (of their own kid, of course <g>).

My daughter's bday was last month and we had the girls (older, 8 and 9) paint their frames and took a group shot (once in a lifetime souvenir!) and while they played and ate, we printed the picture, put it in the (dried!) painted frames, and each girl got something that's both by them, and of them and their friends.

Its PRICELESS!   And as a dad, what could be a better gift? :)

  6. Father's Day photo album - Compile a scrapbook or photo album for the dad. Album ideas are endless: pictures of child with dad, old pictures of your dad, your dad's military photos (if he was in the military), etc.

  7. Have them make their own coupons that say like "Good for cleaning up my mess", or "Good for 2 kisses". Make a little goody bag full of chocolates too. Have them make their own cards too!
