So far I've got Garlic Mashed potatoes, bread rolls stuffed with pesto, and dessert will be sauteed peaches with toasted pound cake & french vanilla ice cream. Also, is it okay for me to request that everyone bring their own drink since the crab is going to cost me well over $75.00?

  1. how about some roasted corn with butter, rice pilaf..gratain style potatoes,

you can have spinach quesadillas cut in single serve portions, cucumber salad....

yes, ask everyone to bring wine and as another person below mentioned.. say you are having a wine tasting party as well.

  2. I think a nice salad and some sauteed Napa cabbage. As far as the drinks go I was taught that when invited to someones home to eat you should bring something to drink. Ask them to bring some wine and have a little wine tasting with dinner. Sounds like a fun time to be had by all. Good luck!

  3. I think some roasted vegetables would be great. I like to drizzle veggies with olive oil and roast on a baking pan in a 400 degree oven. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and if you like a little parm cheese. I also like to saute carrots, zuchinni, peppers and onions that have been sliced in to finger sized matchsticks,in butter and olive oil. Saute until just tender and season with salt and pepper. Enjoy your party.

  4. not with King Crab, use hush puppies, as King Crab will be very filling
