  1. unplug the 360 and I believe there should be a button either on the cable box or the remote that says cable, just hit that then power and if its on the box just click power

  2. Click T.V Source on the remote. Its usually a gray button. Then, you should have regular t.v. Plus then click 1 and you get all the cool features on on demand like music Choice and Exercise t.v! Good Luck!

  3. Easiest solution is to call the homeowners.  But if you can't...

There are five possibilities on my TVs at home.  If none of these things work when you try them, put it back so you don't cause more harm than good.

First, you should check to see what channel you are on.  It could be that you need to change the channel to either 3 or 4.  If that doesn't work, put it back to the original channel.

Second option, just turn the XBox off.

Third option, change channels on the VCR if one is plugged up to the TV.  Make sure you check channels 3 and up on the VCR (using the VCR remote control).  If this doesn't work, put it back on the original channel.

Fourth option, look for a separate box with numbers on it.  I can't remember what it's called, but cords from various input devices (VCR, DVD player, game systems, etc.) all converge in this box, and whatever appears on the screen is determined by the number you push.  Try all numbers.

Fifth, on all remote controls, look for an input button (or TV/VCR button).  Push it and see if that solves your problem.  If not, make sure you push it again so that you are back to the XBox screen.

If none of that works, you may have to unplug some stuff.  Run the cords directly from the cable box to the TV.  Pay attention to how the cords are plugged into the other device and try to copy that on the TV.  Usually, the TV has to be set to either channel 3 or 4 to watch cable.

  4. Well, without knowing what kind of TV it is, and how they have it connected, it's hard to give an accurate answer. But I'd start by looking for a button on the TV (or the TV remote) labeled "video", "source", or "input"; that's usually the thing that selects between different video sources. Some Time Warner Cable remote controls also have a "video source" button on it; if the owner has programmed it correctly for their TV, that might work as well.
