I am hungover, any tips to feel better?

I was at a 21st last night and am feeling a little worse for wear right now. Any tips to help me feel better.

  1. hi.... i have 1 2 lol.... i just got up and had a bath and got something 2 eat......n am now sitting down relaxing on this do the same because i feel better lol

    Then go out again tomorrow :) Be young.. be freeeeeee :)

  4. a lot of hangover symptoms are from dehydration

    drink lots of cold water

    have a greasy breakfast

    go for a jog make sure you break a sweat this will start to pump last nights **** out of your blood stream and release endorphins that will make you feel better

    take an aspirin and vitamin c

    drink more water

    then go back to bed and sleep it off

    buy a massive bag of doritos or sensations aha

  8. Eat fried foods.  They help for some reason people don't know.  But next time you drink, when you get home, drink lots of water, it helps counteract any hangover.

  11. I was just in your shoes Friday morning. I was also partying with my sister on her 21st. Free drinks are dangerous. I always hydrate really well, anything that you can keep down. Drink plenty of water or gatorade, oj, juice etc. Ibuprofen helps too. Rest and treat yourself as you would if you had the flu basically. I also recommend "the hair of the dog" which means that you should take a shot or drink whatever it is that you had the most of the night before. It's brutual and you might puke, but your body is hurting because you are having alcohol withdrawl. If you put a little alcohol back into your body, you will feel better sooner than later. For future reference if you drink a glass of water in between drinks or take Chaser brand medicine (hangover remedy) you won't feel as sick next time (or just don't drink as much).

  13. Going to sound crazy, but other than water, I always find a big glass of chocolate milk helps to ease the pain.

    Other than that, practice practice practice.  You're only 21, you've got many more of these nights and mornings to look forward to.  Just be thankful you didn't wake up next to someone you didn't recognize.

    Oh, and when I know I'm going to go out and get plastered, I keep a bottle of gatorade next to my bed, when I get home I chug that down.  Seems to help make sure my brain is nice and hydrated in the morning.

  14. A little exercise, a big glass of water, and yeah a bit of food will help too.

    Water is extremely important, as drinking alcohol dehydrates oneself.

  15. a hangover is nothing but a sugar unbalance ,, We pump are bodies full alcohol sugars than stop.  Add more sugar a Hershey bar and some OJ can fix even the worst!

  16. You are probably already sleeping again. Good! That's truly the only thing that makes you feel BETTER.

    Stuff that might make you feel a little less crappy:

    Water.

    Gatorade.

    A fast food breakfast.

    Funny conversation.

    s*x.

    More alcohol. (seriously though, give it a break for awhile)

    Change your clothes to something lighter or just get naked and lay in bed with a sheet on you. If you have a window in your bedroom, put a blanket on it.

    Get away from the internet, and loud perky friends.

    Besides, you gotta do this again tonight, so you better be well rested!

  18. Yes, get  a piece of bacon fat, tie it to a piece of string, and pull it up and down your throat.

  23. just try and live through it !! but make a bloody mary, they really help and a full english breakfast

Drink lots of water as alcohol dehydrates you which causes the stinking head ache you've probably got, take some alka seltzer or something similar - this settles your stomach and relieves head aches and go back to bed for an hour or so as you dont get the quality sleep you need when you're body is trying to recooperate whilst you're sleeping so you're probably feeling tired too.
