  1. Start off running a quarter mile (or a more comfortable distance) after school everyday. Make sure you run the entire time or it's pointless. Soon you'll get stronger and stronger so you'll be able to run farther. Keep running consistently and you'll beat 8 minutes. To help your sprinting, sprint a certain distance at the end of your runs.

  2. to improve running run  a short distace like around your house a couple of times in heavy shoes or boots then run around your house 1 more time in sneakers

  3. read this article on how this kid improved his running stamina it has tips on how to improve your running time. http://redsoxfan5739.blogspot.com/2008/0...

  4. a mile under 8 minutes shouldnt b that hard but if ur not there just run a mile everyday an ull start to breath easier an thats all there is to that an the 100 and 200 preety much the same thing just run it alot an it will get easier as u go an then when u got breathing down work on strengthing ur legs

  5. track is hard i know it always look easy but once you are running it it looks to far from the star line to the finish line!!!!!! looki dont do track no more !! it was taking too much of me and i just quit !

BUT I JUST TO GT FASTER PUTTING THIS THINGS THAT I BUY AT ACADEMY THOSE ARE LIKE SOME KIND OF WEIGTHS THAT YOU PUT ON YOUR FEET AND THEN RUN WITH THOSE!!! FIRST TIME IS GOING TO BE VERY HEAVY BUT ONCE YOU GET JUST TO IT YOU WILL BECOME FASTER BELIVE ME IT WORKED FOR ME! BACK ON THOSE TRACKS DAYS ALSO DONT EAT ALOT BEFORE A RACE YOU KNOW EAT LIGTH EAT FRUITS AND ALL THOSE THINKS AND ALSO DRINK MILK! THAT HELPS YOUR BONES AND ALL THAT WELL  I HOPE THAT THIS HELP YOU!!!!!!!

  6. i used to sprint so i kinda know what im talkin bout, in the off season i ran 6 200s every other day.. on the days i didnt run 6 i ran 3 to 4. this helped me tons in my 100m time even though i never really needed since i was a pole vaulter. just be careful not to get shinsplints.. they are a terrible thing to develope esp in a young runner like yourself.

finishing strong is hard. for me its all air.. about halfway into the race right when the track usulayy straightens out i let everything out. i dont suggest you use this but talk to a track coach , they should be able to help you with this

as for your mile i cant really help you there. when practicing you could try breathing through your nose to increase your indurance but be extrmemly careful if you have asmtha or any other pre-exixting conditions that you may because you dont want to get hurt or over work yourself
