I am in Canada Yahoo. I get ladies wanting to join my "FanBox" . I have know idea what it is. Please help me!

All the ladies asking to join have a Philippines email yahoo address. Like I say I have no idea what this FanBox is. Looking for some feeling understanding of what this is! Thank You all and Bye from a Canadian

I think it's unusual for a lot of folks from only one specific geographical area especially different from your own wanting to join your network. When something like that happens, I think "spammers".

When someone adds you to their Contact list, that person is your Fan. The best way to grow your fan base is to ask, answer, and star really interesting questions.

If you’d prefer NOT to have fans, you can restrict people from adding you as a contact and becoming your fan:

In Yahoo Answers, click on your avatar (picture) to go to your "My Profile".

Click the Edit My Info link under your profile information.

Scroll down to the Sharing section.

Click the checkbox next to Allow other users to be my Fan to remove the checkmark.

Preview the change to your setting.

Click OK to submit the new setting.
