  1. Depends on what nationality you are by birth.  And your wife.  Visit the immigration guidelines online - just look up requirements - but if I remember correctly, the easiest and fastest way to get legal status is to have a job considered a skilled position.  Doesn't matter what kind of education or what kind of job, just that it is considered a skill to offer - and you will go through relatively short steps to acquire permanent status.  Good luck!

Once again it depends upon you and your wife's present citizenship.  I'm a Canadian.  I have looked into this in the past for others.  It is NOT as difficult nor as long and drawn out as some may imply.  And it does depend upon which country you stem from.

  2. As I  mentioned in answering your other question, you really need to get legal advice.  Look for an immigration lawyer, even if you can afford only an initial visit.  It will be money well spent and you will know better what your options are.  The immigration process is complicated, and the fact that you are here on a visitor's visa and want to stay makes it a more complicated situation.  Best of luck with it.

  3. you can not change your visa, you must leave canada when your visitor visa expires.

then you can apply to immigrate,it is a long process

  4. Get Married.

  5. I'm from the US and married a Canadian, and am here on a visitor's visa. You will need to get the forms to apply for resident status. If your wife is Canadian and makes enough money she can sponsor you. Immigration will allow you to stay while your application is being processed and I was told that it could take up to 3 years.

The person that said get married, doesn't know what they're talking about. I've been married for a year, and am pregnant with his baby and I still have to go through the same process as everyone else. Immigration told both my husband an me that just because we're married and having a baby together means nothing because a lot of people tried doing that just to stay in Canada. A lot of idiots ruined it for the ones that want to do it right and actually are doing it because they want to be together.

Call immigration and see exactly what you need to do.
