  1. No.

  2. Don't you have to defect to a different country, and change your citizenship to be an expatriate?  Not sure, but that's what I always thought.

  3. not really until how long is your visa expire!

    but you can check it by going to airport and on DENATA SERVICES

    or

    you can call 181 and get the phone number of DENATA and check it on the phone easy and fast!!!

  4. Dear Traveler,

    You are just a "visitor" only, and not an expatriate.

    But as per the online dictionary "pedia", it says;

    "An expatriate (in abbreviated form, expat) is a person temporarily or permanently residing in a country and culture other than that of the person's upbringing or legal residence. The word comes from the Latin ex (out of) and patria (country, fatherland)."

    Thus even a person staying temporarily out of country also named as "expatriate".

    Hope this helps you a little

    Best of Luck

    Thx

  5. Being in the UAE on a visit visa - you are a visitor. An Expat is a person living in a foreign country on a valid residence visa keeping his/her own citizenship.

    Take care.

  6. yes you are
