I am in a complicated romantic situation but my concern is more with friends?

Well I am sort of "seeing" someone and my concern is more with one of my friends. The concern being I believe she is untrustworthy. Today she said she had a difficult time believing I am even with this person because she hasn't seen us together but also the fact that I haven't been "open" on line about my "relationship" with this person. I've always been a private person in particular about my romantic life ( no one knew my ex and I were until we became engaged) but now she's going behind my back telling people she thinks I'm making things up etc. and it is somewhat hurtful because thought this person was my "friend" and feel shouldn't have to justify everything. Besides we never hang out that much aside from one area so she's rarely seen me outside one occasion.

so anyway to deal with this girl?

she seems insecure and may be having had problems when you last talked with her. she may be getting through them now, give her some time.
