  1. maybe you could come up with some excuse that you werent feeling very well that afternoon but apart from that you might just have to except the warning and learn from it.

hopefully all you will get is a verbal warning from it and not a written one.

  2. don't do that

  3. Tell him with confidence that you are sorry and that you had made a serious mistake and that you will not repeat it again.

  4. be honest and tell him what you have done he may be angry and you may get a warning or face a disciplnary if you get off with it this time dont do it again good luck

  5. Spending your afternoons at work, skiving, not doing what you get paid to do, and doing the thing that you were told not to do?  You sound like a complete waste of space. If your boss had any sense at all, your feet wouldnt touch the floor between your desk and the exit.  As well as saying sorry, you could try asking for a reference to give to future employers but I wouldnt hold out any hope for a good one.  Loser.

  6. You are lucky that you were let off the hook.  Hopefully you won't repeat this behavior.  You are probably being scrutinized all the time now.  Lay low and become a diligent employee.

  7. Forget it. Move on.

  8. Own up to what you did wrong.  I am a 'boss' and I hate it when I catch my employees doing something they shouldn't be, and they feed me a load of you know what.  Just flat out tell him what you did, maybe even why, and explain that it was a one time mistake.  Tell him you realize him company's time is valuable, and you will make it one of your top priorities not to abuse that time.

    Good luck, you'll be fine.

  9. "Boss, I've learned a valuable lesson", "What can I do to help make up for my mistake, or repair any damage?"

  11. Ask him to block out social networking sites from the work computer, if that's possible.

I go on facebook, youtube even Answers when I'm at work, so I know what it's like.

Also, he needs to give you more responsibility to stop you slacking off, like my boss, or are we just being lazy?
