I am in aruba right now and my ipods are not working. is it possible that the xray ruined them?

If you had them in your checked luggage yes but if you had them in your carry on I would say no.

It could be the humidity and heat that is messing with your music. Going from A/C to heat messes with my digital camera.

Another person suggested taking it to the dragon store, good idea if you can't get it to work.
