  1. Yikes! 1.68 is a bit low...

I believe that colleges require you to have at least a C in any class to be transferred.

  2. wow, how in the world do you even get a 1.68 GPA????? That sounds like all d's or something. Did you even go to class or did you just party all the time. You will have to retake all those classes but Im not sure another college will accept you. Sounds like the good old community college is your best bet.

  3. No, you need a minimum of a 2.0...and that is low.  Get your GPA up.  Are you on academic probation?  Get some help, get a tutor...not ready to transfer yet!  (college prof)

  4. If it is to a community college or a vocational school then most likely yes. However if you are thinking about transferring to another university with a 1.68 you may find it difficult as most universities want a 2.0. With that said if you sit out a semester you might have a better chance.

Please understand if you do transfer most likely only courses with at least a 'C' grade will transfer which can mean you may have to repeat a few courses or your academic standing (e.g. freshman, sophomore, junior) may change due to not having enough transferable credits.

My recommendation would be to get your gpa up to at least a 2.0 before trying.
