I am in charge of taking 20 students on a field trip in New York City. It is an Intro to Psych course......?

So i would like to keep it relevant to Psych if possible. At the very least, I would like the trip to help integrate students into the NYC area (Manhattan specifically). Any ideas?? Thanks

You could arrange a visit to one of the field clinics where they deal with soldiers dealing with ptsd.

Perhaps some kind of people watching activity, and then have the students analyze the various behaviors.  I did something like this called "Casing the Joint".  It was interesting.  (and even kinda fun!)

I think you're on the right track, maybe while you're there you might ask your students what they like about New York(Manhattan area) and what interests them, for example: cultures,music,theatre, or maybe the opprtunities that can be found there, with so many ideas for life, fun ,careers, like that.If you'll just believe in yourself and what you believe everything will be fine. that may help you to integrate your students favorites.
