I live in Seminole County Florida and I was recently layed off from my job. Unemployment is not even close enough to paying the rent. I have 9 years experience in customer service, management, dispatching, etc. I have advanced basic office skills and need to make at least $12 per hour in order to pay my bills. I am used to making $15 or more but at least my bills will get paid with $12. Please help if you know of any jobs that are available!! I have put my application and resume in everywhere online and in person and still have not found anything due to the lack of jobs because of the recession that our country is in. If you know of any entry level positions with base pay I am also a very quick learner. If you are reading this and you are an employer let me know and I will email my resume.

Thanks!

  1. I used to live in Brooksville, FL, in Hernando county. I worked at Walmart DC 6020 on Kettering Rd. (The DC might be located in Ridge Manor.)

I left there in 2001 making $14.10 an hour.  It took me three years to get there from a start of $8.80 an hour. I am sure the starting wage has been raised.

    They are always hiring.

  2. open up your own business, then you can do what you want and still make more than $15 per hour.

  3. you need to suck it up and get a few part time jobs.  I went from making 50k a year at an engineering firm to working at Quiznos and tutoring math!

I jsu tsucked it up and applied.  Office skills are kind of useless.  Anyone can do them.  Applyin gfor stuff online wont work either because your competing against lots of peop ewith degrees.

Waht you need to do is learn a skill.  Take up accounting ASAP.  Also get into Florida's Unemployment retraining program so you can learn this new skill and have them pay for it.

Call your creditors and let them know your situation and then rent out a room in your apt to a student for the difference.

I have done all of the above so it can be done and I had expenses double or triple of yours.

Good Luck and do all this like today!!!

  4. Try www.indeed.com & key in the name of the position your looking for in your area. You may get some results. In the mean time, register with all of the staffing firms/temp agencies in your area, and you might make enought to cover your bills.
