  2. The Cannon SD750 (black) seems to be one of the best cameras for the money. Also, consider similar cameras with optical view finders. This can really helps in bright sun.

    There are lots of inexpensive cameras at Walmart. Also, check Best Buy where you can get great advice and good prices.

    The last link will help you keep the battery and camera contacts clean on any digital camera you buy. Digital cameras require lots of power so these contacts really need to be good to avoid problems.
