  1. Adil: Sincere

    Ajit: Victorious

    Alok: Brightness

    Edi: Herb

    Taj: Crown / Jewel

    Meer: Chief

    Hope I helped :)

  2. I don'tt know if this matches Keya, but the name Ayan just popped into my head.

  3. Shiva. The sheer amount of awesomeness that follows cannot be explained in Yahoo! Answers.

  4. Raj

  5. Zane ... Zain (Hindu) means "godly light"

Ravi ... the Hindu god of the sun.

  6. I can't think of any names that are a combination of Kedar and Yogita. But I love the name Ravi, it's Hindi and it means benevolent or sun god. Also, Ajay meaning unconquerable and Jai meaning victory. I hope that helps!

(By the way, I recommend Ravi!!)

    Good luck and congratulations!

  7. Although "Arya" would be one combination of the two names you gave, I would suggest NOT naming your son that because of negative associations with n***s, the Aryan race, etc.  (Also, "Uday" would have been an option if it had NOT been the name of Saddam Hussein's son).

If your son will live within India only, these 2 names are good possibilities though:

    Arya: honored, noble

    Uday: to rise

Here are my suggestions of other 4-letter (and two 3-letter), Indian, baby-boy names...

    ***Amar: forever, immortal

    ***Ayog: institution

    ***Ketu: Lord Shiva

    Kush: Son of Lord Rama

    ***Yadu: an ancient King

    Yash: victory, glory

    ***Adit: from the beginning

***Akul: a name of Lord Shiva

    ***Alok: cry of victory

    ***Amit: endless, boundless

    ***Anay: Radha’s husband

    ***Anek: many

    ***Anit: joyful unending

    ***Arav: peaceful

    ***Dron: prominent Mahabharata character

    ***Garg: name of a saint

    Geet: song

    ***Giri: mountain

    ***Guru: Teacher, master, priest

    ***Gyan: knowledge

    ***Tuka: young boy

    Rahi: traveler

    Raja: King

    Raju: prosperity

    ***Hari: Sun, Vishnu

    ***Isar: Eminent; Lord Shiva

    Ojas: body strength

    ***Setu: sacred symbol

    ***Udit: grown, awakened, shining

    ***Tej: light, lustrous

    ***Jay: victory

(Jay is like: j + kEdar +Yogita).  So it does seem to combine the two names you gave, and come to think of it, it does match well with "Keya"... It's almost like having two kids named "J" and "K." :)

(*** = names that combine letters and/or sounds from the two names, Yogita and Kedar)

Hope this helps!  Please let us know the name you ultimately choose for your son! :)
