I am in search of someone or somewhere, who can repair my WD hard drive, in Sydney?

i have got this, Western Digital 160GB hard drive, n i am just not being able to access it...i am in search of some place or someone, who can help me fix it. i m ready to pay too...but only in Sydney, Australia.

  1. Nobody but a manf repairs hard drives anymore mate those days are long gone. If the drive is really damaged then only a company that does data recovery could help and unless that data is REALLY valuable it will be too cost prohibitive. if you're willing to pay 'anything' Google 'data recovery Sydney'  and see what comes up. They charge by the MB.

    Have you tried hooking it up to a diff computer and see if the other drive can access it? Many times it can and you can move all your data off your WD to a DVD or whatever. Anybody that has a computer and also the same interface(ATA,SATA,SCSI) as your WD can do it. Even a friend.
