I am in the army and want to leave my wife. How?

Question

If I leave then the army is not going to allow me to stay in the barracks and I don't have enough money to stay in a hotel for months (until the divorce is finalized). If I stay then we will somehow get back into our cycle of fighting and thinking everything is going to be okay again.

We don't sleep together. She is never interested in being with me when I am around. She leans on my financially when she knows very well how little I get paid. Its just a mess basically.

Just for your info, I don't have kids. It seems like everybody equates marriage with kids. That is not the case here.

Hooah!  My advice is to utilize the services that taxpayers pay for.  Army Community Service is there for you.  Use it!  Call Military One Source, why are you fighting with your wife?  Most importantly, talk to your chain of command.  You get an exception to policy letter endorsed and get on post housing until things are done.  Who knows?  Maybe you two kids will reconcile.  Hooah!

Get an attorney and explain this because if there isn't children involved and she is not interested it sounds like you are being used and you deserve to be treated better.  You may be able to annul the marriage.

Is there an attorney in the military there that can guide you?  Can she be made to leave?  There are no children involved but I do not know how long you two have been married.

I really think something else is going on here because at one time you loved your wife so much you married her and visa versa.  Try going to counseling and work out the details and you will be happier for doing so.  Leaving your wife does not resolve the problem.  Resolving the problem helps renew the marriage that probably is worth saving.

i dont know what ur d**n squad leader , platoon sgt , or plt leader is filling you with , but they cannot deny you the barracks , they own ur *** , they cannot stop ur baq either until u are divorced , they cant stop you from divorcing , contact jag ,
