  1. You will get vehicular conveyance from Kalimpong to Phuentsholing border ( 180 kms - 6 hours ). From there the journey to Bhutan's capital Thimphu is another 231 kms ( 7 hours run ) should be undertaken next day only.

    Thimphu is a lovely small city at the height of 7710 feet ( 350  mtrs ) situated in the valley of wang chu river.
