I am ineterested in web designing. Please suggest me how to start?

i have been working with computers since eight years. suddenly i developed interest on web designing. I tried a lot to learn from books and internet. But I didn't got the right way to learn. So it will be much better if anybody and suggest me in the same.

I too enjoy web design, first you need to know basic html

html code it easy to lean. To build a web page you could just use notepad, but Adobe Dreamweaver or something like that.

Check w3schools.com , you can also register at freelance websites like http://getafreelnacer.com/ , http://eufrelance.com/ , http://scriptlance.biz/ ,etc and start bidding for all web designing projects posted there .

Well web design is jungle. There are right ways of doing things and then there are how things are done.

What you must know is how the web works. The web is a client/server architecture. Check that out on Wikipedia, it'll give you a good start. Then if you want to learn the client side, the HTML pages and stuff, I suggest www.w3schools.com. This site has all the right ways of doing things.

If you want to learn the server side, I'd suggest PHP or python. Now how to learn those is a matter of what you are used to in term of work ethic. If you only want to copy examples and learn from that, s***w the books, go on google and search for PHP/Python tutorials. If you are more the lind to learn from books, I recommend APress as a publisher. They have really good books and they are available on Amazon.com.
