I am installing a new horn on my 2003 Dodge Stratus

I have a dual electric horn I want to install on my car. It had a single horn with just one lead from the steering wheel switch. The problem is, although I've hooked it up as the directions say I can onle get one to work. When I hook it up directly to the battery it works fine. Is there something in between the battery, switch (horn button on steering wheel, and the horn that is reducing the voltage? I can't figure this out.

  1. run a wire from the one horn to the other this way when the horn button is engaged it will activate both horns it wont hurt noting to do it this way,it will just be supplying power to two horns instead of one, good luck.

  2. try putting a bigger fuse in the fuse box, it might work
