I am installing an after market car radio in a 95 ford explorer.?

There already was an aftermarket radio in the car but it got stolen and now i do not know how to install the new one.

  1. in the dash there should be wires in the back when you get a new head unit some of them come with wire kits and what you do is take those wires and match them to the ones on the wire kit. look at the manual for the new head unit and it should show the color item example mostly the wires are: red=power, black=ground, blue=ignition(on most cars sometimes are striped blue or purplish)

    and so on most door speakers are colored purple or green, on most fords the colored green if not green there purple and striped. but it should all be shown on the manual. once you have them all down you need crimpers which are like little tabs so that you can connect the cords, i'll list them.
