I am interested in TESL....?

Question

I am interested in teaching English as a foreign or second language. Any input on what some pros and cons are or could be? Would love to hear from someone who has experiance or is currently TESL/TEFL Thanks

Pros: excellent way to travel and see the world and meet some great people on the way; the work isn't too hard once you know what you're doing; can take you to places you've never imagined before

Cons: c**p money (enough to live on but that's about it); very hard to make a career out of it (i.e. good for a job for a few years after college or when you retire from your day job, but a career in TESL? only for a very few people!)
