I am interested in any and ALL ideas about overcoming speech delay?

Our son was partially deaf between the ages of one to three ( all due to an ear infection - parents make sure you do regular ear checks of your infants!). He is intelligent and now aged 11, he has made good progress in the last few years, but is still about two years behind his classmates in his speech development. We would be particularly interested to know of any online speech development programs out there.

You could contact your State Department of Health.  They may know of special programs in your area to help your son.  In New York State there are some, infact I was part of a special daycare because of it.  My nephew who is now 6 has a speach therapist come to his home to work with him and it is all covered by the state.  Good luck to you!!
