I am intrested in knowing the technology involved in transfering heat energy to refrigiration?

heat from sun is used to heat water and when hot water is not required it is presumed that the same heat energy can be reversed to cool the air in the room in the same lines as we use air conditioner without using any conventional energy. similar application of using sun heat energy to use for refrigiration insted of conventional energy.
