i graduated in december from a university in management and finance and got no job! On the other hand i have a ex-friend who cheated a lot in college and somehow got into pharmacy school. He is going to make $100,000 a year! The thing about this ex-friend is that hes not a nice guy. hes really mean and deceitful. For example he was hitting on my sister and got her drunk and shes underage. which is why he isnt my friend anymore. Why is it that these kinds of people get ahead in life and people like me who strive to be successful always fail. Im so ashamed of not having a job and he makes fun of me for it. Hes almost done with pharmacy school too.. what a jerk.. advice? inputs?

  1. You have absolutely no reason to be jealous of this guy. Why even listen to him? You're the better person because you didn't cheat your way through school. That's why he makes fun of you, because he knows he had to cheat and you didn't.

Reading through you comments, it seems that you need to work on your self-confidence. Stop worrying about what this jerk says, and focus on yourself. Define what type of job you want, research companies that offer that tpe of job, and start contacting them. You have to be a bit aggresive and diligent.

Oh, and not getting a job 4 months out of university is not that bad.

  2. i agree with scotsladye...plus whenever he does graduate and get a job, he probably won't even know how do perform his job correctly because he cheated his way through! trust me, there nothing to be jealous of here.

  3. Don't be jealous, he cheated his way through college, and if he does get  job, I don't even think his performance will be sufficient. You're a better person, so why bother think of it. Go do some job hunting and researching, soon you will make fun of him. Always remember that, cheaters doesn't always win at the end.

  4. He cheated to get in. But that doesn't mean he will make it through. And even if he does, he still has to pass the boards.

A pharmacy degree without passing the boards (and getting licensed) is essentially worthless.

Trust me.......this guy will get burned.

Good luck with your own hunt!
