i graduated in december from a university in management and finance and got no job! On the other hand i have a ex-friend who cheated a lot in college and somehow got into pharmacy school. He is going to make $100,000 a year! The thing about this ex-friend is that hes not a nice guy. hes really mean and deceitful. For example he was hitting on my sister and got her drunk and shes underage. which is why he isnt my friend anymore. Why is it that these kinds of people get ahead in life and people like me who strive to be successful always fail. Im so ashamed of not having a job and he makes fun of me for it. Hes almost done with pharmacy school too.. what a jerk.. advice? inputs?

  1. Think of it this way... you will have to make more of an effort finding a job. That will make appreciate it more. Right now is not the place nor the time for you to have that (dream) job.  Remember, when things get real difficult (like now) and your ex-friend is rediculing you for not having one, your victory is just right around the corner.  In addition, let him have his "time." When you cheat (like he did through pharmacy school) nothing good comes out of it. Also, in life, when you have to cheat and lie to get something that you didn't deserve in the first place, NOTHING good comes out of it.  In closing, his actions will backfire on him eventually.  Here is one of my stories:  At work, a co-worker was really trying to get me in trouble because he said I wasn't following policy. I have been doing my job longer than him and I know what policy is. Anywho, a year down the road, HE get FIRED. For what? you may ask? Not following policy and violating compliance rules. All this time, he was trying to tell me how to do my job. But he gets fired for something he claimed he knew everything about!

  2. it doesn't have 2 do w/ god

    trust me on this one

people that do things like that almost always crash in the end

you just have 2 b persistent and work hard and i promise you'll get there soon

    good luck

    and people like that suck!!

  3. You should ask that of the Christians and the god.  Why does their god reward people like your ex-friend and others like him who are more corrupt.

  4. excuse me but i don't remember the guy saying his ex friend was Christian that really offends me since i am one. I'm sorry you're friend is getting what he wants that isn't fair but something good will come from all of this and he will get judged before God in heaven, however you didn't cheat and probably will get something for it in the near future.
