I am joining the Marine Corp and undecided on avionic or intelligence. What are possible civilian job

opportunities for both, ease of employment, salary etc. Any help from prior marines would be great, and any other qualified persons would be also helpful. Thanks

Avionics is a good job in the Marines. My brother is an AT in the navy and works with the aviation marines on a regular basis. I myself am a corpsman in the navy and work with the ground force marines...so between us we have a lot of experience with both fields.

Aviation is always a good field to get into in the civilian sector. My brother is currently getting his degree thourgh Embry Riddle for Avionics...something or other, but his plan is to get out of the Navy once his degree is finished and get a job in the civilian sector. We were looking on a website a couple of weeks ago and the number of jobs out there, and the pay scale for those jobs were phenomenal! I couldn't believe that even with more training I couldn't find a job that was near comperable to the ones he can choose from.
