I am just opening my Pay Pal account for my Marketing business?

which account do i open the personal, premier, or business? which one would be the best?

Obvious answer I'm afraid, it depend exactly what you need it for ?

Is it for a Ecommerce type setup, simply to send payment mequests via email, or to be used as a cheap alternative to a Merchant type account ?

To be honest I would just go for the 'business' and be done with it, that will certainly cover everything you might need.

Open the business account. Paypal will treat you with more respect. They will call you to verify stuff instead of freezing your account automatically. Any disputes will be handled with more professionalism.

It is worth the upfront setup. They also have a higher production threshold for business accounts. Less likely to freeze account due to much volume.

Business is best - you get all the benefits. And plus you're doing a business so it is best to open a business account.
