I am leaving for Hawaii this Sunday and I'm going shopping for things to bring on the trip.?

Any suggestions on things to buy? Plus I need help on what to pack.

Sunblock, extra $$$, lots of shorts, bathing suits, nice clothes

No matter where we are traveling, I always find it helpful to take several large Zip-lock baggies.  They are great for liquids, like shampoo and lotion etc.  I also use them for dirty undies (so they don't smell up my suitcase).  If you go swimming the last day and your suit isn't quite dry it keeps the rest of your suitcase from getting wet.

If you are using film, instead of digital, be sure to take plenty with, since you will pay quite a bit more there.

Not sure how long you are going for, but I find it helpful to take some Woolite or Downy to rinse things out and thus pack fewer clothes.  I buy those little plastic travel containers for about a dollar and put it in there.

Clothing for hot weather, sunglasses.  You can buy sunscreen at the store, no use packing that.  Shoes.  If you go to a decent restaurant, flipflops are not allowed.  Pack some ziploc bags for dirty/wet clothing.

I live in Hawaii & if i was you bring clothes for a VERY HOT weather.  This summer here is really hot.  Bring sun block if your planning to be on the beach alot.  Flip flops, slip on, shoes, doesn't really matter.  Bikini, shades, shorts, bring some few jeans i guess for the night out and stuff.  Just bring stuff you would normally bring anywhere.
