I am leaving for matrnity leave, would i still have my insurance, through the company?

i will have insurance on august, i have been with this compnay for almost 3 month. but i will be leaving for maternity leave sometime around october. would i lose the coverage for the insurance, or would i still have insurance through the company? confussed how this maternity thing works. any help will do..

  1. You can still have your insurance, you will just have to pay the full amount yourself (your company will not be covering their part) since I doubt you will be receiving any compensation since you have been there such a short time period.  

    I can sit here and make this a really long answer - but honestly the best bet is for you to speak with your HR department at work, they will know the specifics for your situation, state and company!!

  2. You will need to go see your Human Resources person.  They will explain to you what is in your contract.  Every company is different with different benefits in their contracts.
